About UtahRefi

An Independent Educational
Resource for Utah Homeowners

Free guides on VA, FHA, and USDA mortgage programs, written to inform, not to sell.

What UtahRefi Is

UtahRefi is an independent educational publisher focused on Utah mortgage and home loan programs. We publish free guides on government-backed loan programs, VA, FHA, and USDA, because these are the programs most Utah buyers and homeowners encounter, and because the official documentation can be hard to navigate without context.

Our goal is to help Utah homeowners and buyers understand their options before they speak with a lender, so they can ask better questions and make more informed decisions. We do not originate loans, set rates, or represent any lender or brokerage.

How We Research and Write Content

Our content is researched and written by the UtahRefi Editorial Team, writers with backgrounds in mortgage education, real estate, and consumer finance. Our research process draws from:

  • Official HUD, VA, and USDA program documentation and published guidelines
  • Annual loan limit publications from HUD and the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA)
  • CFPB consumer financial guidance and disclosures
  • Utah Housing Corporation program documentation
  • State and county-level real estate market data

Where rates, limits, or program terms are time-sensitive, we include a note to verify current figures directly with a licensed lender or the relevant agency. We do not quote rates or make lending commitments of any kind.

What We Are Not

  • We are not a lender, mortgage broker, or loan originator. We do not process applications or originate loans.
  • We do not quote rates. Any rate figures mentioned are market commentary for educational context, not a commitment or offer to lend.
  • We are not affiliated with HUD, the VA, the USDA, or any government agency. We explain their programs, we do not administer them.
  • We are not a substitute for licensed financial or legal advice. Consult a licensed mortgage professional for decisions specific to your situation.

Corrections and Updates
